Competitive Player Profile Registration

Tennis ID Registration

Are you a tennis player looking for an exciting experience? Well, look no further because your first tennis tournament is just around the corner! Enrolling in this process may seem daunting at first but don’t worry, I’m here to guide you through it and help you get set up and ready to play.

The first step before entering a tournament is registering for a competitive player profile (Tennis ID) and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR).

What is a Tennis ID

Your Tennis ID is a unique number that you will need to quote when entering tournaments. You will receive your Tennis ID when you register for a competitive player profile. Your competitive player profile will operate as a dashboard to view your playing history, and upcoming match data, and enable access to advanced analytics of your match play performance. Cool.

Once, you have access to your competitive player profile you will then need to link your profile to your Universal Tennis Rating (UTR), don’t worry this is easier than it seems.

But First, What is a UTR?

Your UTR Rating provides a real-time view of your true skill level by tracking your performance with fancy algorithms that compare the strength of your opponent, your scores (Based on % of games won), and your official match history over the last 30 matches within 12 months.

Having a UTR Rating enables you to track your progress, find level-based play, and expand your tennis network to play with people of other ages and genders who are equal to your level. It is a global rating system with a scale from 1 – 16.5 points that measures how good you are regardless of age, gender, or location. Over 1 million tennis players have a UTR rating, with 200+ Countries using this system, as well as ATP and WTA players. And…. Its free! Awesome.
